Born on June 15, 1939, Billi was the beloved daughter of the late John Robert Johnson, Jr. and Ella Johnson, and sister to the late Barbara Hill. Billi's life was one of compassion, strength, and service. She devoted herself to her family, friends, and community, always extending a helping hand and sharing her unmatched wisdom. Her passion for the Lord guided her every step and touched countless lives along the way. She was the cherished mother of Robin Denise Johnson, Rhonda Michelle Coghill, John Robert Johnson III, Joseph Tyrone Quarles, and Reginald Malik Thomas. She was also a loving aunt to her late niece, Deborah Sue Paige, and nephews, James Michael Hill, Jeffrey Hill, and David Hill.

Throughout her life, Billi worked tirelessly in many roles — from American Airlines employee (10 years) to insurance saleswoman (7 years), to daycare owner, speech pathologist (6 years), and receptionist at several law firms across Washington, D.C., and Tampa, Florida, before her retirement. Her dedication to her community was evident through her 17 years of service as a Community Commissioner for the Tampa Housing Authority, where she worked to uplift others. Even when she had little, she was known to feed the less fortunate, embodying a spirit of generosity that never wavered.

Billi leaves behind a legacy of love through her 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, as well as countless adopted children of the heart and an uncountable number of brothers and sisters in Christ.
