A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Bobby Storey, Jr. of Tampa, Florida who has transitioned to be with the Lord on October 16, 2020 will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Ronnie Murray, pastor of Greater New Friendship M.B. Church, officiating.

He was born April 8, 1950 in Americus, Georgia. He loved watching TV (westerns, news and football). He was a generous man and a great father. He loved his family and love spending time with them every chance he gets. The Tillman barbershop was his favorite meeting place on Saturdays.He attended Greater Friendship M. B. Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Odessa Storey; daughters, Romona McGrew and Pamela Storey and sister, Bernice Storey Lock.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his ex-wife, Barbara Storey; children, LaShanda Storey, Kendra McGrew, Janice McCray; stepdaughters, Debra Lewis (Jack) and Gracie; grandchildren, Vincent McElroy, Jr. (Boomer), J'Lyen and Kamren McElroy, Destinee Bryd, Sam Braxton, Jr., Jonae Powell, Robin, Tiffany, Davida, Demar, Dashonna and LaMonte Daniels, Rickydra Knight, Quanisha McGrew, David Perry, Jr. and Shontay Belcher; Hayden Fional, Kaitlyn Gayman, Ermahni Reid, Demar 'D.J.' Daniels, Jr., Dominique Daniels, Tiffany Miller, Shontay Belcher and Robin Cavazoz; a host of great-grandchildren; brothers, Homer Lee Storey and Ralf Storey 'Sunny'; brother-in-law, Joseph Lock; sisters, Margaret White (Tony), Beatrice Williams (Joe), Alice Dunlap (David), Ethleleen James and Carrie Ligons; nieces, Tammy, Lawanda, Theresa Lock, Odessa 'Tina' Marshall, Pat Scott, Sharon Higgins, Mona Kelly, Brenda Wiggins, NaKisha McCray, Tasha Storey, Melissa Jackson andTracy Riley; nephews, David Dunlap 'Ro-Chez', Pete Storey, Ervin Wiggins, Kevin Williams and Larry Higgins and Ricky Wiggins; a host of other cousins, family and friends. My father will be missed by many; however, I trust the Lord. May he rest in peace.The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
