Homegoing service for Mr. Bobby Lee Williams of Tampa, FL who passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014, will be held Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 p.m. Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bobby Lee Williams was January 2, 1942 and raised in Thomasville, GA born to the late Eugene Williams and Arlean Newsome. He was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Juannita Williams and brother, Eugene Williams. He later resided in Tampa, Florida for 32 years before his health began to fail. Bobby was employed with Reeves Plumbing Company and Williams and Butler plumbing company for many years. At the time of his death he had 9 children; 4 daughters, Wanda Williams (Poole) and husband, Bennett, Sharon Williams, Renada Williams all of Tampa, FL and Lashanunda Pittman of Birmingham, AL; 5 sons, Anthony Bean of Thomasville, GA, Timothy Williams, Vashon Williams and wife, Herell, Brian Williams and wife, Ashley and Kenyuna Williams, all of Tampa, FL; 28 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Willie Morris, and wife (Mary) of St Pete, FL and Cleveland Williams and wife 3 sisters, Lorean Williams of Bainbridge, GA, Hazel Paytee of Waycross, GA and Rosemary Newsome of Thomasville, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and close family and friends and special friend Thelma Russlle. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 31st from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
