Homegoing services for Mrs. Brenda B. Johnson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012, will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 11:00 a.m. at Savannah Grove Baptist Church, 2620 Alligator Road Effingham, South Carolina, with Rev. Ralph Canty, officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Prong Baptist Church Cemetery, South Carolina. Brenda was born on January 26, 1962 in Florence, South Carolina. She played softball for many years and enjoyed cooking and loved doing home interior design. She was very creative and talented. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved watching NFL football. She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Johnson and Christine Johnson. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with children, Michael Johnson, Frankie Johnson and Terrance Johnson all of Tampa; grandchildren, La Michael Johnson and Reginald Johnson of Tampa; brother, Willie J. Williams, Durham, NC; sisters, Mary (Charles) Reynolds of Tampa, Audrey (Robert) Rush, Lucinda (Johnny Lee) Sanders, Angela Seegars and Christine Johnson all of Florence SC; sister-in-law, Pam Wells of Orlando, FL; nieces, Gwendolyn Fowler, Tampa, LaTesha Reynolds of Atlanta, GA and Jolie Williams, Tampa; nephews, Anthony (Janet) Williams, Horace Fowler, Tyrone Johnson, Christopher Johnson and Ron Seegars all of Tampa; best friends, Kelene Robinson and Carolyn Philon; special friends, Stacy Lambright, Kathy Heayn, Hamilton (Scoobie), Tammy Stewart, Regina Jenkins and Laverne Mustipher. The viewing was held at Aikens Funeral Home, on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 4-7 p.m.
