Homegoing services for Mrs. Brenda E. Richard of Tampa, who passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 11:00 a.m. at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Avenue, Rev. Antonio Hawkins officiating with Elder Lane Pastor, presiding. Mrs. Richard was born on January 9, 1955, in Tampa, Florida. She is the daughter of Ella Hayes Evans and the late Randolph Evans. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Michael Evans. She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Talicia Nash (Tampa, FL); a devoted mother, Ella Evans; one brother, Freddie (Gail) Hayes, Sr.; three sisters, Jacqueline Evans Herring (Bowie, MD), Beverly Evans (Jacksonville, FL), and Amanda Evans Coleman (Tampa, FL); grandmother, Iola Evans (Cobb, GA); three nieces, Brittany Herring (Bowie, MD), Michelle Sims (Chicago, IL) and Breanna Evans (Tampa, FL); and two nephews, Freddie (LaToya) Hayes, Jr. and Damien Hayes; and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held at Exciting Faith Alive at Mt. Silla, 5705 32nd Avenue, Friday, June 17th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at 5:30 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at New Salem P.B. Church at 10:45 a.m. for the service on Saturday.
