Homegoing celebration for Ms. Brianna Lavern Anderson of Tampa, who passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013, will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., New Greater Friendship M.B. Church, 3225 E. Emma Street, Rev. Madison Murray pastor, with Rev. Ronnie Murray, Sr., officiating Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Brianna Lavern Anderson was born on November 10, 1990 in Tampa, FL to Joe Anderson and Gwendolyn Ponder. Brianna was very athletic, outspoken and eager for life. Everyone that knew her will remember her as kind and loving. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with children, Tyler Makhi Silas and Joanna Jo'Niyah Silas; parents, Gwendolyn Ponder and Joe Lee Anderson; grandparents, Anne L. Heard (Nathaniel) and Frank Peterson; brothers, Joe Lee Anderson, Jr. and Antonio Brookins; sisters, Tierra Nichole Anderson and Angela Ann Anderson; aunts, Dorethea Leverne Swain, Patricia Ann Ponder, Geneve Hobley and Wanda Frances Green; uncles, Donnell Ponder (Glenda), John Lee Ponder and Carlton Williams (Joyce); niece, Markayla Green; nephews, Markeris Z. Ponder, Christopher G. Johnson, Angelo Lofton, Antonio J. Brookins and Bryan Simon; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 11th, from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
