A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Brinnie Mae Lane of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 will be held on Saturday, August 4th, 12:00 p.m. at Bible Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N 46th Street, Pastor Earl Mason; Bishop James Cochran, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Brinnie was born on December 24, 1932 in Madison, Florida to the late Lester Joseph and Cora Williams. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Holiness Church. She enjoyed going to church, fishing and spending time with her family. Brinnie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Cora Joseph; husband, Willie H. Lane; son, Jonathan Lane, Sr. and great-grandson, Ethan J. McDonald. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with her children, Edward Joseph, Martha Brim, Rose Evans, Willie Bowles, Alan Lane, Sr., Sara Lane, Cora Lane and Avonta Lane; grandchildren, Angel Gordon, Lynette Gordon, Dawn Johnson, Edwina Joseph, Willie C. Dickens, Jr., Tommy Dickens, Tyca (Toni) Thomas, Ebonie (Jeremy) Evans, Cornelius (Janae) Mitchell, Haddie (Jerimel) Miles, Patrice Bowles, Thereshan Bowles, Jonathan Lane, Jr., Demetria Q. Lane, Adrienne Lane, Alicia (John) Kennedy, Monica Lane, Alan Lane, Jr., Priscilla Mouzon, Dwight Scott, Aaron M. Lane, Taneesha Lane-Jones, Brinnie Hudgins, Desiree Wallace, Michael Cory Lane-Smith, and Kevon Lane; great-grandson who held a special place in her heart, Elijah Holden; 62 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Minnie T. Jones and Marie Mims; uncle, Parker B. Joseph; godson, Robert Sams; god-daughters, Olena Cochran and Wanda Walker. The visitation will be held at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church, 4216 E. Chelsea Street, on Friday, August 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at Bible Based Church of Temple Terrace church on Saturday for the service.
