Bruce was born on July 4, 1957, in Harlem, New York, to Alan and Margaret Uhl. A devoted husband, Bruce shared 45 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Susan, having wed on May 27, 1980. His enduring commitment and steadfast presence were a cornerstone of their life together. Before retirement, Bruce owned service stations across the NYC boroughs and was known for his hard work, generosity, and passion for cars. A devout catholic and longtime usher at his parish, he lived his faith quietly and sincerely. He had a special love for music—especially classic rock—and often played along on his harmonica. A true outdoor enthusiast, he had a deep love for nature and animals. Bruce will be remembered for his kindness, humor, steady presence, and the love he gave to his family and community.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Alan A. Uhl and Margaret T. Uhl; brother-in-law, James Dabrowski; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins in the New York and Iowa area.

He leaves cherished memories to his children, Daniel Uhl, Faith Uhl (Dylan Price), Alanna Uhl, and Anna Marie Uhl; grandchildren, Paige Rose, Devi Jane, and Madison Samantha; brother, Robert Uhl; sister, Alicia Dabrowski; nieces, Sandy Liebl Carrie Uhl Butler, and Lauren Uhl; and nephew, David Dabrowski.
