Obituary

Mr. Carlton S. Fraser was born on December 7, 1934, in Georgetown, Guyana, to Hubert Fraser and Christina Fraser. From an early age, Carlton's life reflected a quiet strength, deep kindness, and a genuine love for people that would remain with him throughout his years. Carlton was known for his gentle spirit and quick wit. He was kind, funny, patient and endlessly generous, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word. His presence brought ease and joy to those around him, and his laughter was a gift that will be fondly remembered. In pursuit of higher education, Carlton lived in London, England, where he earned his bachelor's degree. An avid traveler, he had a broad perspective and deep appreciation for culture, learning and community; values he carried with him for the rest of his life. A proud member of the Guyanese Cultural Network of Tampa Bay, Inc., Carlton remained deeply connected to his heritage and community. He cherished fellowship, cultural traditions and the bonds that unite people across generations and borders. Carlton's life was one of quiet impact; marked not by loud achievements, but by the love he shared, the patience he showed, and the kindness he extended to all. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Fraser and Christina Fraser; and brother, Leslie Fraser.
