Buie
September 12, 1927 – April 19, 2026
Carnell Buie was born in Stillmore, GA to the late Clarence and Bertha Buie. He attended schools in Emmanuel County, GA. He relocated to Tampa, FL, in 1944 and has been a resident of Northview Hills for many years. He was converted at an early age. He worked as a roofer for Cement Roofing Company for a number of years before retiring. He loved attending family reunions, fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Buie and Bertha Buie; brothers, James Buie and Johnny C. Buie; sisters, Parrish McKeathan, Pauline Posely, Alberta Murphy and Queen Buie; and children, Rose Buie Randall, Brenda Buie, Frederick Buie, Carnell Buie, Jr. and Carnell Buie III.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Floretha Buie; sons, Weldon Buie (Angie), Kenneth Buie (Cebrena), Ronald Buie (Tasha), Donald Buie (Minnie) all of Tampa, Florida; daughter-in-law, Mary Buie; daughters, Linda Leaks of Bradenton, FL, Linda Buie, Fannie Buie, Wanda Buie, LaTonya Buie Bravo, Christine Harper of Macon, GA, and Diane Smith (Pete) all of Tampa, FL; a A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Wallace (Monca) Buie of California; sisters, Mary Lou Buie of Bronx, NY, Peggy (L) Hughes and Eloise Huston (Dennis) Johnson both of Stillmore, GA; along with a host of nieces and nephews; and a special thank you to St. Joseph's Hospice.
