A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Carol Blanks, who passed away on Monday, August 23rd, 2021, will be held on Sunday, September 5th, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. She was born on October 29, 1957, in Haiti to Aurelie Desrivieres. Carol loved to cook. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Carol leaves to cherish precious memories: her children, Caroline Lherisson and husband Alex Ford, Terry Alcindor, Saintphany Steve Lherisson, Alain Clerge and Jerry Clerge; grandchildren, JeNah Bowe, Richard Bowe, Jr., Valerie Lherisson, Damien Ford, and Cameron Ford; mother, Aurelie Desrivieres; brother, Salomon Desrivieres; sister, Marielin Dejean; aunt, Theresa Eugene; nieces, Sasha Brutus, Rochelle Mondesty, and Ruth Dejean.
