Mrs. Carol B. Canady was born July 19, 1949, to Mr. Henry Louis and Minnie Pearl Batton in Daytona Beach, Florida. Carol was educated in Volusia County Floridas school system, and graduated from Campbell High School, Daytona Beach in 1967. She later attended Bethune Cookman College. In 1974 she moved from Daytona Beach to Tampa to accept a position with the State of Florida where she worked for 31 years before retiring.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Willie Davenport; her husband, Wendall Williams; and her son, Corey Wendall Williams.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, sister; Gloria Batton Robinson (Stonecrest, Ga), twin brother, Carl Batton (Veronica Ann) (Jacksonville, FL), daughter-in-law, Kelandra Price Williams; granddaughters, Shelby Zuri, and Sydney Elizabeth Williams, (Hampton, Ga), a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Florida, New York, Alabama, and Georgia.
