Homegoing Services for Ms. Carolyn Gaines of Tampa, Florida who passed away Wednesday, July 22. 2015 will be held Saturday, August 1st 2:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Church, 2916 E. Orient Road, Rev. Eric Campbell, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Carolyn was born in Tampa on February 5, 1946. She loved cooking, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Clara Wearing; brothers, James Faison, Jr. and Travis Faison. She leaves to cherish her memories: 7 children, Sam Thomas, Charles Showers (Leshaundra), Reginald Showers (Lora), Cory Moore, Maurice Moore (Marshania) and Ruby Gordon and Michelle Peterson who she loved like daughters; grandchildren, Antiony Williams, Jordan Thomas, Samantha Bolesta, Deshondre Wilson Jones, Alantaye and Kortney Wilson, Demetrius, Demonii, Jeany, Danielle, Melissa, Sarah, Reginald, Jr., Carmelo, and Rashard Showers, Aiden Fenelus, Julie Estera, Cri-hana, Corshavyais, Corniaja, Cortavious, Sacuoia, Zayonna, Dariona, Sincere, Jaylin, Nasir, Miah, Maryiah, Malik and Marquis Moore; great grandchildren, Nyava, Gerald and Jared Showers and Denise Martinez; loving mother, Lula Gaines; brothers, Richard, Wayne, Alfonso, Theodore (Veronica) and Calvin Faison; only sister, Yvon Goggins; aunts, Ella Garnett and Lottie Edwards; uncles, William Jones and Earl Waters; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 31st, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The friends and family are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service
