Carolyn was born on July 1, 1945, in Tampa, Florida, to Broley and Derotha Harris.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Harris; sisters, Katherine Harris and Gloria Davis; and aunt, Irma Truss.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Janet Neal and Gary Harris; grandchildren, Shantel Thomas, Anthony Neal, Dominique Griffen, and Blaire Harris; 5 great-grandchildren; parents, Broley and Derotha Harris; nieces, Helen Flager (Keith, Sr.), Selathiel Davis, Sylvia Harris, and April Jenkins; nephews, Marvin Davis (Janet Davis); friends, Jarvis Glover and Mae Coleman; and a host of other loving relatives, cousins, and friends.
