Carolyn was born May 5, 1942, in Charlotte, North Carolina to Henry Warren Bailey and Bernice Cash. She was a happy housewife that loved dancing and watching western movies. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving friend for 48 years and husband for 31 years, Adell Mingo, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Robin Cash, Wanda Scruggs and Shelia Mingo; sons, Adell Mingo, Joseph Mingo, Teddy Mingo and Anthony Mingo; grandchildren, Chelsa Cash, Latrell DeJesus (Jose), Tyisha Combs (Eddy), Almetya Carr, Jalisa Scruggs, Ian Cash, Tahiem Carr, Malik Martinez, Reuben Martinez, Darius Scruggs and Jeremy Scruggs; great grandchildren, Tristan Thompson, Jaiden Underwood, Kyree Collins, Braden, Darius, Jr., and Dailyn Scruggs, Amazin and Ahmnei Combs, LeMayra Mars Hall, Zaire McAllister, Nevaeh, Aaliyah and Miasiah Carr and Ellie Martinez; brothers-in-law, Joseph Mingo (Lily), James Mingo (Wanda), Goldie Mingo (Deborah), Willie Mingo (Casanthia), Andrew Mingo and Odell Mingo (Teresa); sisters-in-law, Rosemary Anderson (Pastor James Anderson), Ruby Shoemaker (Eddie) and Bertha Russell; special friends, Iona Simmons and Jimmy Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.
