A Visitation Ceremony for Ms. Carolyn Thomas of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 will be held on Friday, May 22nd 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33610. Carolyn was born in Hyde Park, Florida to the late George Thomas, Sr. and Mayme Bevel Thomas on March 18, 1953. She was a graduate of Plant High school and Concorde Career College. She worked for Picadilly, Maas Brothers and retired from Leslie Peters halfway house after many years of service. She loved and enjoyed reading the bible, watching T.V. and movies, telling current events, jokes and 'Tha Rock' in her leisure time. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas, Sr. and Mayme Bevel Thomas; sister, Sara Helen Thomas; aunt, Cora Bevel; uncles, James, T.J and Nicki Boy' Bevel. She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories with her daughter, Tamara Thomas; son, Tyree Thomas; grandchildren, Jasmine Robinson, Zantavius Showers, Mikelle Robinson, Tikenya Thomas, Destinie Thomas and Kenyarda Thomas; great grandchildren, Enrique, Francisco, Juan and Kehlani Johnson, Za naiah Robinson, Jordan Jernigan, Zayden Showers and Ava Showers; sister, Mary Thomas Stephens; brothers, Deac. Billy and Mildred Thomas, George, Jr. and Cynthia Thomas; nieces, LaTasha, Nicole and Ashley; nephews, Thayer and Paul and a host of great great nieces and nephews from Tampa, St. Pete and LV; uncle, Master Bevel; aunts, Marie Duval, Essie Hunter of Colorado and Alberta 'Sis Bevel of Jacksonville, Florida; cousins, Patricia, Vicki, Vinson, Von, Lisa, Yoyo, Tommy, Tony, Raiford and Bevel families of Tampa and Madison, Florida; special friends, Helen Thompson, Liz Bivens, Isabel Tolentino, Daisy Akiboh, Ouida Hilton, Merita Green, Mildred Russell and 'Joe'; special daughters, Ivane, Kristine, Kesha, Tracia and Jessica; and a host of other relatives and friends.
