Homegoing Services for Mrs. Carolyn Wright-Henderson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016, will be held on Saturday, February 20th, 11:00 a.m. at True Holiness Church of the Living God, 3800 N. Nebraska Ave., Bishop Alto Blanding, Sr., pastor and overseer with Elder Beverly Blanding, co-pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Carolyn Wright-Henderson was born September 7, 1955 in Quincy, Florida and was longtime resident of Tampa. She was a member of True Holiness Church of the Living God. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Luke; sisters, Sharon Wright and Teresa Wright; brother, David Wright. She leaves to cherish her memories: her devoted husband, Calvin Henderson; loving children, Johnny Gay (Tenise), Charles Wright, Rashad Edwards (Ida) and Carla Edwards (Mario); grandchildren, Joneshia Gay-Redding (Eduardo), Jonoshia, Jontecia, Jon'Niya and Johnny Gay IV, Gerald Sheppard, Raquel Edwards, Destiny Brown, Markayla Westbrooks, Cardeyae Culver, Te'Kendria Green, Jon'Quavia and Jon'Niqua Gay, Rashad Jr., Reshay and Rashaya Edwards; great-grandchildren, J'equan Gay Eduardo Jr. and E'moni Redding, Tyrone Jr., Ty'Rhiana and Ty'Asia Clayton and Xion Leshore; mother, Sara Wright; sisters, Linda Wright, Theresa Baynes (Nelson), Rose Brooks, Brenda Gregory and Sharon Robinson; brothers, Bobby Wright, Michael Luke, Lonnie Brown, Johnny Robinson, Glenn Dukes (Patricia), Ricky Robinson and Gary Brown; aunts, Blanche Hadley and Sarah Atkinson; uncle, Clarence Young; nieces, Gerita Burgess, Ciesha Solomon, Satura Wright and Danielle Wright; nephews, Rico Simmons, David Wright, Willie Mitchell, Artice Pride, Darrin Williams, Gustavo Wright (Tiffany), Aqkino Wright and James Huff; and a host of other loved ones and special friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 19th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
