Carrie Lee Dukes was born in Orangeburg, SC, on February 11, 1956, to the late Martha Lee Jones. Carrie loved to work in the garden, spend time with family and friends, and cook.

Carrie was preceded in death by her mother: Martha Lee Jones; sister, Lou Ethel Sealy; and brothers, Frank Sims, and Morris Dukes.

She leaves to cherish her loving daughter, Cheryl; son; James Poole (Tangela); grandchildren, Ricky, Darius, Angela, Derrick, Shaderria, Damian, and Dominique; brother, Cleve, and Benjamin; sisters, Yvonne, Betty, Rosa, and Jackie; nieces, Paulette (Pete); and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
