Cassandra was born on May 30, 1972, to Ellen and James Mickens, Jr., in Tampa, FL. Her hobby was reading. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, girls day out activities with friends, and visiting her sister. She was a member of Holsey Temple C.M.E Church. She was preceded in death by her father, James Mickens, Jr., grandmothers, Alice Mae Mickens and Jannie Mae Ray, grandfather, James Mickens, Sr. She leaves cherished memories with her husband, Ira Smith; children, Iresha Smith, Inesha Smith, Tavon Chavous, Irealle Smith, and Ebony Smith; grandchildren, Iyanna Hall, Alani Chavous, Ira Stallworth, Naraiyah Casper, Zakhari Davis-Reaves; mother, Ellen Mickens; brothers, James Mickens III (Kim), Mathew Smith (Shawn), and Gerald Miller; sisters, Jackie Thomas (Clay), Ica Coley (Corey), Jamel Woodie (Aaron), Tinker Canty; aunts, Christine Moore and Betty Hall; uncles, Sam Mickens (Jackie), Jerome Mickens (Jeanie), Charles Mickens (Sue); nieces, Sharonda Pryce (Marlon), Kimesha Hudson, Ashley Clark, Janice, and Janene Woddie; nephews, Josh Thomas, James Mickens IIII, Brain Brown, Mathew Smith Jr., Trayvious Canty, Corey Coley, Jr., Aaron and Ishmel Smith; a host of cousins, friends, and God-grandkids.
