Cassie was born on June 29, 1941, in Tampa, FL, to Leroy Mitchell and Gwendolyn Lee. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, Usher Board #1, reading the Bible, watching her westerns, and taking care of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leroy Allen.

She leaves precious memories with her spouse, Carol Hoyte; children, Oral Allen, Hugh Hoyte, William Hoyte (Tricia Ann), and Patricia Williams (Kelvin); grandchildren, Keonta Hoyte, Ani Hoyte, Terrence Wise II, William Hoyte, Jr., and A'Nehemiah Wise; great-grandchildren, Cassie Williams and Rashad Suber, Jr.; brothers, Bernard Mitchell (Carole) and Emanuel Mitchell; sisters, Mary Mitchell, Ernestine Mitchell-Cordell and Linda Huff; aunts, Eugenie Shuler, Pearl Mitchell and Barbara Mitchell; a host of nephews and nieces; cousins, the Richardson family of Jacksonville, FL, Janette Lee and family and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mitchell of McDonough, GA; a host of cousins; a host of relatives and friends.
