Ms. Catherine Spaulding affectionately known as "Ma Cat" was born January 11, 1959, in Tampa, FL. She was the oldest of 5 kids. Catherine attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and also attended New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lottie Ruth Parham; grandparents; aunts, Louise Dawson, Ruby Mctear, Margaret Worlds and Lillie Dixon; cousins, Shawn Dixon, Julius Dawson (her favorite cousin), and Eddie Session; and godsister, Frances Paramore.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: son, Anthony Spaulding, Jr.; daughters: Sherria Spaulding, Quaherria Wilson (O'shaun); sister, Ruby Parham; brothers, James Parham (Joyce), Alfred Parham (late Gloria), and Anthony Parham; grandchildren, Argenis Spaulding, Aramis Spaulding, Ja'Khi Young, Jayvion Young, Jayce Young, and Kayden Spaulding; great grandchildren, A'lyanna Spaulding and J'Elianna Spaulding; nieces, Khalla Berry-Parham, Jakethia Paramore, Jaylah Paramore, and Janiah Paramore; nephews, Saul Davila, King Davila, and Javon Sanders; aunt, Annie Thompson (Wayne); godsisters, Fran Paramore and Lillian Paramore; goddaughter, Derrika Taylor; special friend, Shirley-Ann Anderson; and a host of grieving cousins, nephews, and friends from Florida and Alabama.
