Chantika was born July 7, 1978, in Tampa, Florida. She was a member of Temple of Deliverance Community Outreach Inc. Reborn Church. Her favorite song was "Im Gonna Be Ready" by Yolanda Adams.

She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Lula Mae Ross and Lula Mae Davis; grandfather, Fred Davis and brother, Tavares Caldwell.
