A Homegoing Celebration for Chaquella Lashone Jackson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2:00 p.m., Greater New Salem P. B. Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Pastor Benjamin Curry, officiating. The interment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Chaquella Lashone Jackson was born on October 14, 1971 and raised in Tampa, Florida. She graduated from Brandon High School c/o 1990. She was employed at the Fresh Market for 20 years as a Head Baker and just recently being promoted to Assistant Bakery Manager.

Chaquella was preceded in by her father, Nathaniel Jackson, Jr.; grandparents, Dorothy Burgess, Clem Salter, Juanita Jackson White and Nathaniel Jackson, Sr. and sister, Dionne Jackson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her loving and caring mother and stepfather, Ivery Jackson Wilcox (Moses, Sr.); boyfriend, Michael Anderson; sister, Mahalia Jackson (Chuck); brothers, Moses Wilcox, Jr. (Renee), Kendon Davis and Stephen Newsome; nieces Zambria, Chuckqae, Zamyriah, Aubrianna, Alexis, Alaiyah and Kendall; nephews, Brandon, Jasir, Treyvaris and Trenton; aunts, Gwelda, Karen, Nathalee (Zethro, Sr.) and Linda; uncles, Michael (Betty), Herbert (Phyliss), Alvin and Ronald; cousins, Eldred, Tiffany, Ceasar, John, Dawod , Alezeem, Richard (Shaterra), Courtney (Kim), Erica, Calvin , Ronald, Jarvis, Tritonda, Rudolph, Kevin, Jonyetta, Jontae, Shawnitra, Herbert, Jr., Tarsheta (Bryan), Adrian, Ebony, Elery, Jerome, Da'Ron, Alvin, Jr. (Shawanda), Nicole (Rodrick), Elliot, Dawn, Monique (Delrio), Talisha (Samuel), Vermont, Dionne, De'Nario, Tawanda, Rhonda, Tony, Sr., Lyshunda, Zethro, Jr., De'Andre (Brittany), George, Jr., Selmar, Craig and April.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 29th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
