Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Charlene Lavette Davis of Tampa, who passed away, Sunday, August 11, 2013, will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. M.L.K., Jr., Blvd., Elder Walter Niles, officiating with Pastor Pierre Francois of Trinity Temple SDA Church of Fitzgerald, Georgia, eulogist. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Charlene was born on July 25, 1964 in Tampa, Florida to the late Mr. Daniel and Mattie Davis. She will be sadly missed by everyone who met and knew her. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Lee Davis, Henry Davis, Rita Davis and Nathaniel Davis. She leaves to cherish precious memories with her daughter, Nattana Davis; 4 sisters, Catherine Norton (Clarence), Sarah Hepburn, Lucille Davis and Veronica Davis; 6 brothers, Gerald Davis, Anthony Davis, Daniel Davis, Jr. (Darlene), Moses Davis, Victor Davis and Jeffrey Davis, all of Tampa; sister-in-law, Patricia Davis; 13 nieces, Katherine, Kesha (Jose), Meka (Marcus), Shonda (Derricus), Cimone (Terrence), Erica (Pierre), Ebony, Ashley, Nicole, Cecelia, VickNesia, Tara and Tameka (Chris); nephews, Waymon (Jequiel), Gerald, Jr. (Jean), James, Leroy (Kera), Daniel, Jr. (Penny), Shawn, Jeffrey, Jr., Maurice, Aaron, Ronald, Rashad, Victor, Jr., Anthony, Jr.; devoted friends, Otha, Wendy and Theresa; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
