Charles was born on November 10, 1959, in Clinton Oklahoma, to Frederick and Oneida Cotton. Charles enjoyed sporting events, reading, listening to music, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Oneida Cotton; brothers, Adrian Cotton and Demetrice Cotton; and daughter, Brianca Durrough.

He leaves behind cherished memories to his wife, Gwendolyn Williams-Cotton; son, Chasaric L. Cotton; dedicated stepchildren, Corporal Marc, Candance Wilder, Jenell Smith and Paul Sernaque, and Justin Glenn; grandchildren, Courtney Johnson, Carmello Cotton and Zaerique Durrough; step grandsons, Paul, Stephen and Marc; step-granddaughters, Lily, Lilyana and Justyn; great-granddaughter, Akelia; brother, Tyree Cotton (Ashley); sister, Diadra Byrd (Alfred); uncle, Earl Whitehead; nieces, Shania Davis, Shamia Davis, Teaonna Hill and Najlah Williams; nephews, Adrian Cotton, Robert Jenkins, Cedric Jenkins, and Jeremiah McBride; cousin, Sheryl Williams; special friends, Marvin and Kathleen Dennis and a host of other family members and friends.
