Homegoing services for Mr. Charles L. Dennis of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012, will be held Saturday, June 2nd , 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E Dr MLK Jr. Blvd, with Minister Andrew Atkinson officiating. Charles L. Dennis was baptized under Rev. A. Bell of Union Baptist Church in Dunnellon, FL. He enjoyed writing, poetry and enjoying his fellow man. He was preceded in death parents, Albert C. and Fannie M. Dennis; grandparents, Rev. Thomas and Lillie M. Williams. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories wife, Julia A. Dennis; sisters, Deborah Blanford and Tara Jones; aunt, Dorothy Spann; uncle, William L. Williams; nieces, Alexis Dennis, Daphnie Jones, Jahari Blanford and Caryn Leslie, nephews, Horace Blanford, Dominic Blanford, Donald Leslie, Ronald Leslie and Jason McIntyre; cousins, Jessie L., Mann, Herman and Ronnie Mann, Marilyn Terrell, Bettie Fussell and Loretta Cambridge; brother-in-laws, Ronnie and Alphonso Leslie; best friend and god-brother Tony Dudley, best friend Charles Morris, and godson, Tony Dudley, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
