Charlie Westbrooks III was born August 29, 1965, in Tampa, FL.

Charlie had many unique interests and passions. He had a deep appreciation for history, art, and African culture. Charlie possessed amazing drawing skills such as pencil sketching. He loved music, especially jazz, and Prince, which influenced him to learn to play the saxophone, flute, and bass guitar. Charlie earned a third-degree black belt in martial arts and practiced several styles of Kung Fu including Tai Chi and Wing Chun. Charlie loved his family deeply and was passionate about building his family legacy.

He leaves precious memories with his parents, Charlie Westbrooks, Jr., and Beatrice Westbrooks; brothers, Danny (Katrina), Aaron, Nathan (Felicia), Daniel (Lequita), Joel, and Joshua; sisters, Kimberly (Wade), Valarie, Sarah, Racquell, and Miriam; nieces, Byronda, Bianca, Kiomarie, Mahogany, Nikole, NaKya, Iyanna, Nevaeh, Brielyn, Lyrik, Elle, Amaya, and SaNiyah; nephews, Glenn, Christopher (Asia), Kyron, Ray, Mark, Kharid, Javani, Elijah, Kendrix, Ethan, Tyrell, Jeremiah, and Isaiah; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, and other family members.
