Charlie Thomas,
Jr
March 26, 1945 – January 6, 2024
Charlie Thomas, JR. affectionately known as "Bubba" was born March 26, 1945, in Tampa, Florida. One of 11 kids to the late Charlie Thomas, Sr. and Lovie Thomas Woodall. Charlie was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. Charlie met and accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He joined Keeney Chapel United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Valerie Goodard. Charlie loved his church and church family and was very active in the community. He took pride in feeding the hungry, serving on the usher board, and singing in the Keeney Chapel United Methodist Men Choir. He also served on the Dinner Church Ministry, and Hospitality Ministry and was a Fill out Table Food Pantry volunteer. Charlie was a wonderful granddad and was very active in his grandchildrens lives and activities. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. A bright light has gone out for us now, our family chain is broken yet again, but GOD calls us, one by one, the chain will link again. He will be sadly missed.
