A Memorial Service for Ms. Chenoa Beyrel Stokes who passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, will be held on Thursday, August 26th at 12:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Tampa, Fl 33610. Rev Lonnie Gray, officiating.
Kenneth and Bryrel Stokes were the proud parents of a baby girl born February 12, 1977, whom they name Chenoa Beyrel Stokes. They loved her so much. Chenoa received her education from Hillsborough County schools; She had always been so smart; at the age of 5, she would help her classmates with reading. Chenoa was a sweet soul, always smiling and so loving and sassy. She played basketball at Bayshore Christian School and was excited about her granddaughter, DaLani starting the game.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Alice Stokes, Malcolm, and Lillie B. Smith; aunts; Lillian Fuller, Mildred Roundtree, and Mary Smith; uncles; John Smith, Robert Fuller, and Sonny Sims. She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories with her mother, Bryrel Stokes; children, Daizsa Stokes and Joveon Haggans; granddaughter, Dalani Aleecia; sisters, Patrice Weatherspoon and Vickie Malphus; aunts, Charlye Crowl, Susie Sims, and Janice Smith; uncles, Malcolm, David (Twanda) and Ralph Smith; nieces, Lillie Malphus, Jasmine and Jeana Weatherspoon; nephews, Victor Brown, James (Rokia) and JeJuan Weatherspoon; cousins, Andrea Logan, Sonjia, Sherry, Nicole, Bobby, Ricky, Reshea Fuller, Denera, Dajan, Devin Smith and Latasha Smith; special friends, Sandra Peoples, Robin "Pip Simmons, Michelle Collins, Meraldine Banks, the Malphus family; the Roundtree family; and a host of other special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she shared her love of God with.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service on Thursday.
