Cheryl Marcia King was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 28, 1969, to James and Mosella King (Glaspie). She graduated from Wilbert D. Mills High School in 1989. Cheryl studied Civil Engineer at the University of Missouri Rolla graduating class of 1995 move to Kansas City Missouri where she worked for the City of Kansas City also capturing her Master of Science from Baker University in 2001. In 2010 she relocated to Florida. Cheryl worked her last years for the City of Tampa, Florida.
Cheryl was an avid spades player, board game master, member of clubs, loved sports along with any activity that brought laughter, friends and family together.
She was adventurous, enjoyed traveling and doing community work, church activities, tutoring children. She also had a passion for cooking and hosting, and planning trips for her family and being a dog mom. Cheryl had her eclectics, she was painter, played the clarinet a collector of music and art.
Cheryl was preceded in death by father, James King; mother, Mosella King; nephew, Biyaun J. Hunter II.
Everyone knew how much she loved her pups. Cheryl survives her two fur sons, Si and Jackson King.
She leaves cherished memories to sisters, Cynthia M. Hunter (King), Angel R. King, Carol Horn (Robert) and one brother, Elgin G.King; aunts, Unity Milner (Glaspie), and Dorothy Shavers, Denise Gillespie; uncle, Robert King; nieces, Azaria R. Frazier, Mykala Wilson-Allen, & Bella Horn; nephews, Braiylaun J. Hunter, Noah Horn, Michael Quailey, Edwin Echavarria; along with a host of many cousins other family and friends.
