Obituary

Homegoing service for Mr. Chester A. Reynolds (Peewee) of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 11:00 a.m. at Greater New Salem P.B. Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., with Elder Theodis Lane, pastor, officiating. The Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Chester Reynolds was born on August 1, 1927 in Monticello, Florida. He was a member of Greater New Salem P.B. Church. He enjoyed fishing and always fixing one thing or another, mostly his great grand children bicycles. He was preceded in death by his father, John Reynolds; mother, Josephine Johnson Reynolds and sister, Mary Lee Edwards. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Betty Davis Reynolds; daughter, Rosalind M. Atkins; grandchildren, Johnny J. Williams, Jr., Lorenzo Wallace, Jr., Maurice T. Emziah, Sr., LaToya M. Atkins and Darvette Strong; great grandchildren, Timothy, Herbernisha and Taleah Greene, Maurice Emziah, Jr., Tre'Miaya and Ma'Kiaya Atkins, Siana and Moriah Emziah, Tavares Albury, Jr. and Jaleah Williams; brother, John Henry Reynolds, Jr.; nieces, Gloria Starks and Bernice Bethel both of Miami; nephews, Ernest Edwards, Richard Edwards and Michael Edwards, all of Miami, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 16th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
