A homegoing celebration for Ms. Chinita Vanessa Bostick of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 will be held Saturday, March 25th, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Progressive M.B. Church, 2505 E. Chipco St., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., pastor, Rev. David Jones, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Chinita Vanessa Bostick was born on February 11, 1974 in Hollywood, Florida. She was the youngest daughter of her loving parents, Ms. Sandra Bostick Mills and the late Mr. Frederick Greene Bostick. Chinita was educated in the public schools of Tampa, Florida completing her primary education at Hillsborough High School in 1992. Chinita received her Associates degree in Criminal Justice from Southwest Florida College. Chinita started her career with the Hillsborough County School System in 2002, starting at Grady Elementary School, then she worked at Kingswood Elementary School prior to joining the Williams Middle Magnet School family until her untimely passing. Chinita loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Her smile was contagious, she loved her family and showed it every chance she got. Chinita's favorite pastime was watching her son LeVondre excel on the basketball court. Chinita always allowed Chenavia to keep her trendy with her love of beauty and fashion. In her free time, she spent time traveling and vacationing with her sister/friends Kim, LeTonya, Wonder, and Cheryl. Chinita was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Greene Bostick; paternal grandfather, William Bostick, Sr; maternal grandparents, Isom and Ethel Wesley; uncle, Sylvester Wesley, Sr.; aunt, Ella Jackson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories and her loving and outgoing spirit; daughter, Chenavia Denae Bostick; son LeVondre DaShawn Carter; mother, Sandra Mills; paternal grandmother, Addie Bostick; brothers Terrance Tisdale and Keith Paramore; sisters, Shelia Downing, Charlotte Stanford and Tonia Tisdale; uncles, Howard (Betty) Bostick, William (Annette) Bostick Jr., of Tampa, FL, Robert Ray Wesley of Hollywood, FL. and Michael Wesley, of Palm Beach, FL; aunts, Lovell Bradwell, Irma Wesley, Anita Farrington of Olympia, WA, and Lebatrice Sobers; 5 nieces and 5 nephews, 3 great nieces and 8 great nephews; all of Tampa, FL. A host of cousins; six devoted friends, Kim Young, LeTonya Martin, Wonder Wade, Monique Stewart, April Williams and Jamilia Hamilton; along with a multitude of mourning extended family members and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
