Homegoing services for Ms. Chiquita E. Hamilton "Kita" of Tampa who passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011, will be held on Saturday, November 5th, 11:00 a.m. at The Walk Church 8619 N. 40th Street, Pastor Ricky Navarro with Rev. Bobby Wellons, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Chiquita was born September 12, 1965 in Miami, Florida. She was baptized at an early age. She attended school in Miami, Florida. Chiquita enjoyed arts, crafts, cooking and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen Hamilton and Drewery Geter and brother, Harold Hamilton. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Cuwissie Hamilton (Sharonda), Khando Kerr (Tasha), Nigel Kerr, Lakeshia Kerr (Shamar), Obrian Kelly and Shauntae Kelly; grandchildren, Mar'Quavis, Natasha, Montae, Cuwasia, Cuwissie, Jr., Keyshawn, Chiquita, Cuwuanjada, Matthaus, Yacinthei, Jr., Herman and Lamar; brothers, Phillip Dyer, Johnnie B. Hamilton (Marvelous) and Willie James Hamilton; sisters, Toni Warren (Willie), Mary Hamilton (Big Mike), Cassandra Hamilton (Buddie) and Taunja Hamilton (Turk); aunts, Katherine Black, Elizabeth Wellons; uncle, Bobby Wellons, Roscoe Jackson and Charles Wellons; nieces, Teresa (Rufus), Tara (Edward), Tia, Shyvette, Davette, Nashcinda, Angel, Johnniya, Miss Marvelous, Johndolyn, Torrencia, Tyeisha, Precious and Yameka; nephews, Dion, Floyd, Johnnie B., Roscoe, Anthony, Larry, Demerick, Edward, Corneilous, Jimmy, Derral, Kilo, Xavier, Reginald, Sayon and Laiquari; a host of cousins and other sorrowing family and friends; and to everyone for their acts of kindness, prayer, support, calls and visits during our hours of bereavement. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Church on Saturday for the service.
