Obituary

Homegoing services for Christopher Dwayne "Mole Man" Cook who, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Peace Progressive P.B. Church 2628 E. Lake Ave, with Rev. Timothy J. Kemp, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Ashford, Alabama. Christopher beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend will be truly missed. Chris was born September 23, 1967 to the late Webb Cook and Rethie Underwood in Ashford, Alabama. He had been a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for 40 years. Chris accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior many years ago and became an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He also attended Cross Over Church and Peace Progressive P.B. Church. He graduated from King H.S. and worked for several food chains in Tampa, being the Entrepreneur that he was. Chris worked hardest as owner of Chris Lawn Service. He loved and always made time for the kids. Chris will live on in our hearts forever. His mother (Nana) was a retired chef but she never stopped eating. Now we know Heaven has a great Chef and a buffet that's where they are together. He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to mourn his passing; 2 daughters, Christine Anderson Cook and Christian Cook (CJ); 1 son, Christopher Dewayne Cook, Jr. (DJ); 3 brothers, Raymond Cook (Mazie Johnson) Webb Cook and Rodney Cook (Shonda); 1 sister, Shebra Cook ( Reggie Smith; step-children; Courtney Timmons, Chameika Crumedy and Jahee Anderson; mother of Christine, Shameka Andesrson Cook; mother of CJ and DJ, Marina Hicks; and Mazie Johnson; nieces and nephews, Shelizia Cook, Webb Jr., Daja, Rodney, Jr., T.J., Nakayla, Big Anthony, Lil Anthony, Shanae, Alexandria, Avery, Malik, Gianne, Kalonni and so many more who were close and loved him; and other relatives and friends nationwide. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
