A homegoing celebration for Mr. Clarence Hill, Jr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 will be held Saturday, May 6th, 4:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born June 15, 1943 in Silas, Alabama. Clarence was a gardener and fisherman, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence, Sr. and Mary Hill. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Margaret Hill; son, Rodger D. Hill; grandchildren, Deanna Hill, Rodger, Jr., Malcom, Rashid, Rashae, Michael, Roshon and Riannia; brothers, Willie Hill (Ollie Mae) of Tampa, FL, Ernest Hill (Patricia) of Waynesboro, MS, Eddie Hill (Dessie) of Millry, AL and Burnis Hill, Sr. of Silas, AL; sister, Annie McGrew (James) of Silas, AL, Maudd Causey of Silas, AL and Virginia Hill of Milwaukee, WI; a host of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann (Hurb), Sandy (Von) and Brenda (Shawn); brothers-in-law, Tommie McNeal (Jerry), Willie Knott, Jammie Knott, Jimmy Knott and H.L. Knott; special friends, Kenny Porteus (Evon). The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
