A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Claudia Haynes Bell of Tampa who transitioned on November 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family in Clearwater, Florida at the age of 66, will be held on Friday, November 21st, 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Restoration Tabernacle, 1044 E. Brandon Blvd. Brandon, FL 33511, Apostle O'Neil Salmon, pastor, Bishop John Carr, Vision Temple of Brooksville, FL, officiating and Pastor Sayida Beal of Kingdom Living Ministries, Morrow, Georgia, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born July 24, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Claude Haynes and Ila Beal. She moved to Tampa, Florida when she was six years old and attended Lomax Elementary, Booker T. Washington Middle School and graduated from Middleton Sr. High School at the age of 17. She later attended Queens Borough College in Queens, NY. She was a foodie and loved to travel. She also loved culture, the arts, music, reading and puzzles. She loved life and had a laugh that could fill a room. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family and friends and would help anyone in need. While living in New York, she met and married Charles Alphonsa Bell. Later in life, she met Michael Eugene Redfern. She was a New York City Board of Education licenser as well as a CNA. After retiring in New York, she moved back to Florida where she worked as a CNA, phlebotomist and EKG technician before retiring a second time. She was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Kawana Bell and Latoya John; sisters, Loretta Beal and Constance Conner-Pierce; brothers, Leonard and Kenneth Beal and their spouses;4 grandchildren, David Daniel, Trevaughn John, Keyshaun John and Twyla Brinkley; 13 nieces and nephews, Denise Taylor-Chaney, Yolanda Lewis, Harold Conner, Cherise Jones, Sayida Beal, Kenneth Wilson, Kasim Reid, Byon Beal, Hameen Beal, Tiara Pierce, Kellie Greene, Bashir Beal, and Christopher Beal; a host of cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, November 20th from 4 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service.
