Homegoing Services for Ms. Claudia J. Render of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, February 3, 2012, will be held on Saturday, February 11th, 12:00 p.m. at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 3225 E. Emma Street, Rev. Madison Murray, pastor with Rev. Leroy Shepherd, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Have Memorial Park Cemetery. Claudia Render was born August 27, 1953 in Tampa, FL and passed on from this earthly life to eternal reward on February 3, 2012. She received her education from the Hillsborough County Public Schools. After being a homemaker for several years, she later joined the workforce and worked at JP Morgan Chase Bank until she retired. She was preceded in passing from the world by her parents, Pinky Render and Willie Render; sisters, Willie Mae Render and Catherine Render. She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving daughter, Celette Dixon; two loving sons, Eric Dixon (Trailany) and Edwin Dixon (Charisse); a devoted stepmother, Severia Render; four sisters, Teresa Render, Whitney Render, Naya Render of Tampa and Senora Clarke of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, David Dunlap (Mary), John and Kenneth Render of Tampa; nine grandchildren, Samuel Taylor, Justice Dixon, Desiree Dixon, Eniece Dixon, Destiny Dixon, Jacobi Dixon, Asiah Dixon, Brandon Stokely, and Kamryn Mitchell; Three aunts, Dorothy Sheppard (Leroy), Dorothy Battie, Jeanette Porter (Major); three uncles, Thomas Scott (Marva), Raymond Scott, George Scott (Alva) all of GA; seven nieces, Toni Smith, Lukia Davis, Javonda Smith-Richards, Severia Render, Angel Guyton of Tampa, Taylor Clarke and Arianna Flowers of Atlanta, GA; six nephews, John Davis (Catherine) of White Plains, MD, Willie Henry Harmon, David Dunlap Jr., Antonio Render (Tonya), Willie Henry Render and Seven Render of Tampa; a host of cousins, The Sledge Family, The Chester Family, The Saffold Family, The Guilding Family, Paul Dunlap, The Hudson Family; a host of loving great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 10th, from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
