Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Clifford W. Gaddis of Tampa, who passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013, will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church, 3221 E. Louisiana Ave, Elder Kennedy Watson pastor, with Elder Joseph Reed, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Clifford was born January 7, 1947 in Tampa, Florida to Cora and Rollin Gaddis. Clifford was in the Army for 16 years and was employed for Hillsborough County Schools and worked for the VA hospital for a short period before he retired. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Rollin Gaddis; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories with 2 daughters, Sabrina Manning SC) and, Icyalite Gaddis (Chester, VA); 3 grandsons, Lajuane Gaddis, Lamar Gaddis and Tavaris McCray (Chester, VA); 2 grand daughters, Alexa Manning, Aleigha Kelly (SC); 2 great grands, Lauryn Gaddis, ZyMeir Gaddis; 1 sister, Gloria Keaton (GA); 1 brother, Rollin Gaddis (NY); devoted niece, Laytoya Sewell Watson; and a host of sorrowing family and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 29th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
