The Memorial service for Mr. Colbert Range, Jr. of Seffner, will be held on Saturday, June 25th, 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 9844 Skewlee Rd., Seffner, Florida, with Steve Lehman, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Mr. Colbert Range, Jr. was born December 16, 1931 in Quitman, Georgia. He passed away June 16, 2011 at the age of 79 years old in Thonotosassa, Florida. He was a long time resident of Tampa and Thonotosassa, Florida. Mr. Colbert Range was known as "Range" to friends and associates. Range was a U.S. Veteran; Colbert worked at Sears in the Tire Department for 40 years. He loved working as a Mechanic and on his farm. Colbert enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Colbert Range, Sr. and Mary Frances Range. Mr. Colbert and Eddie Lee were childhood sweethearts and they were married for 59 A years. They raised nine children, five girls and four boys the following are; Colbert Range, III, Barbara Range, Dorothy M. Range, Sharon D. Russell, Mary Ann Reid, Glenn Range, Darlene Johnson, Todd Range (A.K.A. Elijah) and Dale Range; grandchildren, Tina Range, Mark Range, Calbert Range, Colbert Range, IV, Donival Range, Sr., Barry Johnson, Channing Range, Glenn Range, Jr. and Donya Russell; great grandchildren, Colbert Range, V., Colbrina Range, Donival D. Range, Jr., Jair E. Laguerre, Cloe Crist, Jasmain Crist, Keshanda Johnson, Colbert Johnson, Shania Johnson, Jairus N. Russell, Brice T. Russell and Bricen D. Russell; brother, Seymore Whitfield; uncles, U-John and Helen Brinson and all of the Brinson's Family; sister-in-law, Gloria Austin, special friend, Mary Vereen; spiritual friends, Maggie Brown, Tim Gray and wife, Leslie and the Brieley family and Rosie Cruz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, June 24th from 5-7 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home. The family and friends are asked to meet at Kingdom Hall at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday for the service.
