Ercia, Concepcion (Conchita or Abuela) 86, of Tampa, born December 8th, 1937, passed away peacefully at home on July 27th, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Habana, Cuba, and a resident of Tampa since 1969. She was a loving, strong, resilient, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be cherished and remembered by her family and friends. Conchita was devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a regular volunteer at her children's school, always finding a way to be with them. Additionally, she ran her husband's medical practice for three decades while at the same time raising five children. Abuela will be reunited with her husband of 56 years, Eduardo, and her daughter, Maria A., in heaven. She will live on in the hearts of her surviving children: sons, John E. Ercia (Linda and Victor E.), and Sixto R. Ercia (Lourdes); daughters, Joann M. Ercia and Aida M. Achin (George); grandchildren, Alec M. Achin (Madeleine), Jackelynn C. Johnson (Zack) , Alexis N. Ercia, Jazlynn M. Vogel (Cole), Ashley M. Torres (Felix), and Sarah N. Ercia; great grandchildren, Eliora H. Johnson, Mary A. Vogel, Eliana G. Johnson, Olivia G. Vogel, James E. Johnson, Roman K. Vogel, and Ava M. Achin; surviving sisters, Margarita Andreu and Iluminada Andreu; loving nieces and nephews, and other loving family members.
