Constance Washington was born in Clearwater, FL, to the late Hulon and Mary Ponder. She attended largo high school, located in Pinellas County. She moved to Tampa, FL and remained a resident. She worked at the Ice Palace-Amalie Arena until her health failed. She attended New Friendship Missionary Church, K Gardner, pastor. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Hulon and Mary Ponder; grandparents, Marie Fitzgerald and Albert Mitchell, sister; Jean Marie Mitchell-McKnight, and brothers; Jimmy Fowler, Gary Henry and nephew; Ronald. 

She is survived by her daughter; Destiny Lee; close friend, Lee “Bubba” Coward; sisters, Linda (Michael), Delores, Syliva, Sheila (Victor) and sister-in-law Teressa. brothers; Kenneth and Willis. aunt; Eugenie Shuler; nieces, Cheryl, Shamonda, Demetria (Gail), Ariel, Laura (Curtis), Lakina (Kent), Krystal, Brianna, Narecia, Navonee, Shalynda, Angela, Tashi, Tracey, Tiffany, Melissa, Denise, Rikeia, Alesha; nephew, Dectrick, Dexter, Rico (Elvira), Robert, Shawn (Tiasha), Brandon, George, Willis Jr, Vincent; Special friends; Bernice and Annette.
