Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Cora Lee Copeland Green of Tampa who passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 will be held Saturday, July 12th, 11:00 a.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N 34th Street, Rev, Thomas Scott, pastor, Rev. L.C. Black, officiating with Elder Ozzie Horton as eulogist. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Cora Lee Copeland Green was born August 4, 1950 to Clarence Copeland, Jr. and Daisy Lee Horton. Cora loved to cook and listen to her music. She was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church, under the late Pastor Glover. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Copeland, Jr.; brother, Clarence Copeland III; grandchildren, Lil Teroy and Samija. She leaves to cherish her memories with children, Felicia Horton (William), Tracy Green, Carlos Green (BayBay) and Mario Green; grandchildren, Antonius Larry, Iesha Larry, Twanshaye Crawford, Ashley Blackman, Chartoria Price, Gaikeenia Scott, Chaltisa Price, Tragina Green, Carlisha Green, Carlos Green, Jr, Chartoria Green, JaCarlos Green, Dequane House, Tiffany Green, Davonte Green, Markayla Green and Mario Green, Jr..; great grandchildren, Scottie, Canari, Zion, Lil Anthony, Ca'Mari, Dequane, Jr., Ja'Keevia, Ke'won, Kennedi and Ja'Shad; loving mother, Daisy Lee Horton; brother, Elder Ozzie Horton (Cheryl); sisters, Erma Wiggins, Geneva Copeland (Maurice), Shirley Black (Rev. Lloyd Black), Leola Green (John), Dorothy Hawkins (Carl), Patricia Randall (Reggie), Shirley Golden, Linda Copeland, Gail Boles (Eddie) and Cheryl Copeland; aunt, Janice Williams (Reggie); uncles, Alfonzo Williams (Carrie) and George Copeland (Janice); friends, Mr. Sandy, Dot Williams, Mrs. Jessie, Mrs. Cora, Ms. Wanda, Frances, Gwen and Margert Ann; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
