Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Cora Lee Height of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 11:00 a.m. at Greater New Salem P.B. Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave, Rev. Theodis Lane, pastor officiating. Cora Lee Height, 65 was born on August 12, 1949 in Sandfly, Georgia to the late Isaac and Mary Siplin. She resided in the Tampa Bay area where she attended and graduated from the Hillsborough High School System. Cora worked at St. Joseph's Hospital during her 34 years of profession. She enjoyed traveling and socializing with friends and loved ones during her pastime. She accepted our Lord and Savior at a young age and served as a member of New Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Mary Siplin; brothers, Jimmy Stewart and Isaac Siplin III. Cora leaves sorrowing family and friends to cherish her warmhearted memory; husband, Paul Height, Sr., a devoted husband of 49 years; sons, Paul (Sharon) Height, Jr., and Reginald Height; daughter, Sebrina Height (Valerie); stepdaughter, Coloyer Brown; sisters, Victoria Young (Clarence) and Clara Glover (Jarvis); brothers, Joseph Siplin and Albert Siplin; aunt, Rhoda Siplin; grandchildren, Paul III, Rodrick and Labrina Height; great grandchildren, La'Quess Height, Shylah Height and Novian Bogan; sister-in-law, Zina Siplin; a multitude of family members, nephew, nieces, cousins and friends to include but not limited too; Ethel Pittman, Bernice Brown, Ronnie Watson, Ricardo Young, Jarvis Glover, Chatwanda Young, La'Daisha Stewart (Will), Francesca Matthews, Sheila Blanton, Betty Chehab, Linda Scott, Annie Artis and other special family members and friends who traveled with Cora during her journey of life. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 24th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
