Obituary

Mr. Corey L. Hill was born in Tampa, Florida, to John Hill and Louise Jackson. He was a vibrant and creative soul whose life was marked by love, passion, and an unmistakable sense of style. Corey had a deep appreciation for trendy clothing and carried himself with confidence and individuality. He possessed an upbeat, outgoing personality that naturally drew people to him.

Artistically by nature, Corey found joy in painting and expressing himself through art. Cooking was another one of his true passions—he loved creating meals and sharing them with others as a way of showing love. Corey was also known for his motivational spirit, often encouraging those around him to pursue their dreams and stay positive. At the time of his passing, Corey was attending St. Petersburg College, where he was working toward building a bright future for himself.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamelyn Jackson; his grandmother, Bertha Mae Jackson; aunts, Lou Jean Gaines and Ollie Mae Jackson; and his uncles, William Jackson, Willie Jackson, Benjamin Jackson, and Robert Jackson Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory to mother, Louise Jackson; father, John Hill; sisters, Sheila Jackson, Angela Jackson, Nina Hatcher (Thaddeus), and Taquisha Chisolm; brothers, Ricky Chisolm, Steve Jackson, and Lamarr McClary; aunt, Frances Poole;  uncles, Tony Jackson, Charlie Jackson, and Joseph Jackson; nieces, Shantell Davis, Latroya Davis, and Kenisha Jackson; nephews, Rashad Jackson, Malcolm Lett, and Trianoris Jackson; great-nieces, Breanna King, Auriyana Nobles, Rashana Jackson, and Rakayla Jackson; great-nephews, Cameron Jackson-Freeman, Rashad Jackson Jr., and Rakhi Jackson. He is further survived by a host of cousins, including the Pooles, Gaines, Tylers, and Jacksons, and a special friend, Misty Hendricks.
