Homegoing services for Mrs. Corine Hill Porter of 2807 N. Ola Avenue, who passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2011, will be held Saturday, March 19th, 2:00 p.m., at New Rising Star M.B. Church 1509 North Bay, with the pastor, Rev. Ernest Washington, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born December 22, 1948. Mrs. Porter enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Hill; mother, Odessia Lee Anderson Hill; brothers, Wash (Tom) Hill and James Hill; sisters, Melissa Parker and Josephine Hill Fowler and brothter-in-law, Roberter Porter. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, David B. Porter; children, Cheryl and Samuel Jones, James and Linda Hill, Charles Hill and Serina Williams; grandchildren, Kendria L. Davis, Ciara T. King, Corraine I. Davis, Everett James Hill, Isaiah D. Jones and James Michael Hill; great grandchildren, Saniya V. Lewis, KaDarian Lewis and Malia Stevens; brothers, Gaines and Ethel Hill and Willie and Pat Hill; sisters, Effie Cole, Thelma Lane, Rosa L. Davis and Ruth A. Davis; nieces, Erma and Jerry Holmes, Patricia Sims (James Brooks) and Cynthia and Roosevelt Turner; nephews, Armistar Cole, Carl Hill, Willie F.
