Curry Carmichael Jr. was born to Curry and Leola Carmichael Sr. in Bartow, Florida. He graduated from Union Academy High School in Bartow, before furthering his education at Bethune Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida where he received his degree in Physical
Education. For 35 years, Coach Carmichael dedicated his life to the students of Hillsborough County Public Schools, where he passionately trained young athletes. His commitment and excellence were recognized through numerous awards, reflecting his deep love for his work. Coach Carmichael was preceded in death by his parents Curry Carmichael Sr. (Leola), brothers Loren and Lonnie Banks, and his daughter, Ronda Carmichael Paramoure. He is survived by his devoted caregiver and son, Ron Carmichael (Georgia), and son Cory Carmichael. Coach Carmichael will be remembered by the Banks Family of Cordele, Georgia., and his aunt Wanda Bea Bedward of Lakeland, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy carried on by his grandchildren: Chief Petty Officer Demario Carmichael of the US Navy (Ashley), Destin Paramoure, Sabio Paramoure (Crysta), Angelique Johnson-Dees,Cory Carmichael Jr., Cree Carmichael, and Bryce Paramoure. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Xavier Carmichael, Logan Carmichael, Amaya Carmichael, Nazarite Paramoure, Sabio Jr. Paramoure, Bella Paramoure, and Onyx Paramoure, as well as numerous other friends and extended family members. In his passing, Coach Carmichael leaves behind a profound impact on those whose lives he touched, remembered for his dedication and love for the games. Coach Carmichael will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lakeland, Florida.
