Curt was called to the Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Curt Ashley was born on December 7, 1966 in Chicago Illinois. The second child to Ernestine Simpson and Jewel L. Ashley. Curt graduated from Spaulding High School in Chicago, Illinois and attended Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. After college Curt worked as a Customer Service Representative, employed by Comcast Communications in Chicago. He later moved to Tampa, FL and was employed by General Electric Company. Curt was an avid video gamer and New York Yankees fan. He will always be remembered for his friendly, easy going nature.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Ernestine Ashley.

Curt is survived by; his loving family; brother, Eric; sister-in-law, Tamara; nephews, Evan and Kyle; plus a host of relatives and friends in Tampa, Chicago and McComb, Mississippi.
