Homegoing celebration visitation for Mr. Curtis Bennett who passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 will be held Friday, December 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. M.L.K. Jr., Blvd. Interment will follow. Curtis loved basketball and played for Hillsborough High School and Hillsborough Community college. He loved watching sports and playing dominoes with friends. He was preceded in death by mother, Eunice Longworth and sister, Joyce Longworth. He leaves to cherish his memories with children, Mario Bennett and Derek; grandchildren, Shekina Bennett, Amarie Bennett, Jamario Bennett, Destiny Bennett, Ann Marie Bennett and Markeuis Bennett; brother, Jimmy Longworth; sister, Cynthia; aunts, Eloise M. Scott, Geneva Norman (Ernest) and Corine Spears (Robert); nieces, Gilena Longworth and Gilbrina Longworth; nephew, Willie Carr; special friend, Bernadette Darden and children; and a host of other family and friends.
