A Private Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Daniel 'Murk' Lamont Thompson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating.

Daniel Lamont Thompson was born June 10, 1996 in Ocala, Florida to Renaldo Smith, Jr. and Lechant Thompson. Daniel enjoyed rapping and basketball. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lechant Thompson and grandmother, Janet Thompson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his father, Renaldo Smith, Jr.; brothers, Travis Thompson, Renaldo E. Smith, Jr., Rashad M. Smith, Jeremiah Ashe, Rahmod T. Smith and Jacob Moore; sister, Raniyah A. Smith; nephew, Travis Thompson (TJ); grandmother, Amanda Smith; cousin, Amanda Smith; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will truly miss him. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, December 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. We are following the CDC guidelines.
