A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Darlene Ann Wood-Foster of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 1:30 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating.

Darlene Ann Wood-Foster was born November 8, 1955 in Hudson, New York. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Hudson, New York. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stephanie L. Wood; parents, Ernest C. Wood, Sr. and Mary A. Cobbins and brother, Ronald Wood. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her husband, Edward G. Foster of Tampa, Florida; son, Sergeant Dale J. Wood (Etoi) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandchild, Tehya Wood of Fredericksburg, Virginia; brother, Ernest C. Wood of Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Valerie A. Wood-Fields of Winter Haven, Florida, Patricia A. Williams of Tampa, Florida and Michelle M. Ivey of Hudson, New York; friends, Althea Bennett, Wilbur Hall 'Tator', Barbara Thomas, Lillie Mills, Ella Davis and Linda Worth; other relatives and friends that will miss her.

The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
